Rev Toys 'R Us Wii Bundles

    Via 1up

So, for 249.59 American dollars, you can score a Wii with an extra game, and an extra Wiimote. The catch? You have to pick the system up in a Toys R Us in Canada. So, it anyone who is looking for an incredible deal on a Wii system has any friends or relatives in, or near Canada, it's your lucky day!

Canada is so cool. I want to go open people's doors in Canada after seeing Bowling for Columbine.

From what i've read on other sites, this is actually a forced bundle. The $279 is just the base price of the Wii. Then you have to buy the extras. It'll come to around $450 in total. The page is misleading. And of course, TRU cleverly included that "cover their ass" text in big bold print to protect them.

    Default Real Price

I am one of those people in Canada that pre-ordered it a couple of months ago. I finally got a real price and they said $399.99 (CAD) before tax for the Wii bundle from Toy's R Us.

It was kinda funny too. The Wii pre orders were going kinda slow...and they had Wii Zelda too for pre order.

Now since they announced the price and all. All the pre order units are gone and the Zelda Wii ones to.

I think it is looking good in this part of the world. Hopefully everywhere else too.
