I pray that ps3 wins the console wars. or at least gets second place because I dont like the 360, not enough variety. Anyways I want ps3 to win because thats where the sequels to my favorte games come out like metal gear solid, tekken, final fantasy, devil may cry, didnt like killzone 1 but 2 looks good. I just would be mad if I was forced to play nothing but wii all the time, mario and zelda once beaten are not much fun and nintendo hasnt really been shown lately to have 3rd party support. 360..too many shooters they're good shooters but just too many.

So where are the AAA Wii games? Oh there's Zelda which is a Gamecube game with added bits for using the motion controller. The Wii launch is incredibly underwhelming as far as software goes.. considering how long developers have had the hardware i had hoped for much better titles to show people just what it can do. Then again it's flavour of the month to slate Sony.

I'm undecided about what will happen with the Wii, on the one hand it could go from strength to strength as the DS has or sales could drop off after the initial launch frenzy and it could end up just like the Gamecube.

wii is gonna be "wiining" the next-gen wars or at least against Sony? come on now..please think all of this through. the only reason the wii had such a good launch with adequate supply is because most of the technology or the components within the wii are mostly from the same materials they used for the gamecube. and oh no, no fancy blu-ray or hi-def player in it either, no "cell" (or similarly capable) processor, no capability of viewing movies and pictures in hi-def, no MGS4, no DMC4, no Gran Turismo, no Tekken, it's just a freakin gamecube with a magic wand which appeals to most people who either mooch of from mom and dad, living in the basement, doesn't work (or if they do, at the local Burger King)..no offense to people who can actually afford the wii but what i'm saying is that it mostly appeals to the lower echelon of the working class, namely kids or people with blue-collar jobs. for people who can afford the PS3 on the other hand, we are expecting superb technology that will surpass this generation into the next. trust me the 360 is only popular these days, besides the cheaper price, is the fact that it's hackable. i have one. and it's getting done. but definitely as soon as the Sony exclusives start rolling out..i'm jumping ships..while you fanboys wiggle your wands around. i'm sorry but your fanboyism that you use against Sony is pissing me off everyday.

Well as I said in my last post; the Wii fad will die out among typical gamers rather quickly; especially those gamers who work tedious jobs or jobs requiring manual labor.

The Wii nunchuck controller requires energy to use to make games fulfilling; for instance in CoD 3, I have been told that to use the weapon, grenades, do a gun bash and force enemies off the player (from strangulation or something) the player needs to move the controller in ways that resemble how a real person would do those thing

Using the weapon requires the player to point the controller at enemies, which sounds cool, but think about it for a second, there are literally 1000s upon 1000s of enemies in a single game, now simply moving an analog stick is certainly more energy efficient than moving one's whole hand and arm to aim their weapon.

I am all for 'virtual reality' so-to-speak for the Wii, but when it comes to your average 16-24 year old gamer, I seriously think the Wii will burn out real quick, especially among the gamer populous who smoke pot and want something that fun and easy without having to do much of anything.

I dont even see how you can compare (in this context) wii and sony? Aint no competition between both of them in my opinion, wii is aimed at a different market and so is Sony.

If you still insist on comparing both then i so see sony winning hands down.
