Ive done a lot of research on these. There actually made out of vinyl with a hard plastic coating placed on top of that, but then enough to be applied to your system and protect it from dropping, scratching, and dents. Its worth the few dollars it costs to get one of these.

You can also look on ebay, just type in "Sony PSP Skins" Im getting one myself once my PSP comes in.

yea i plan on getting one, but i dont really like the colors of the skins on that site...i'll probably look on ebay.
