i think the idea of a touch screen controller is risky and great at the same time, look how well the ds touch screen stands up to touching, i mean actual physical contact not the stylus, finger prints wipe away easily, imagine a controller that still had the shape of a game controller like the cube controller, but no buttons, just a touch screen, the developers could program there own control interface, no A or B buttons or X's and squares, the left side of the screen could have the movement conrol and the right have a list of command icons like, Action, Attack, Special and all that, it would eliminate learning cuves for new gamers. and as far as complex controls, well lets look at RPG's, in stead of having inventory and spell lists on the screen, all of the menue choices could have an icon on the touch screen, wanna change weapons? hit the weapons icon, touch which weapon u want to equip, simple as that. fighting games, now i'm not even sure if this would be technologicly possible as far as the capabilities in programming and AI and such. but if there were no issues in the way, imagin having u'r character on screen on u'r controller and being able to create u'r own custom moves, have a "create move" option where you are able to drag and drop u'r character's limbs into position and recording custom movement that can then be transferred and utilized in game. these may just be the wishes of a dilusional fanboy, but just consider the possibilities... there very exciting
