I'm with you man this really sux, I'm already looking at my psp as a monster compared to the new one.

This is just a pile of $h*t, and even if you got it, then you have to see if at some point it can be hacked. (I don't think a modchip will fit in there)

And if this ever happens you won't be able to use it at it's full capabilities cause there won't be a 3.60-OE

so what's the point, it's just a BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF $h*t

You are the idiot, We all love our psps because we can put almost whatever we want on it. (Making my coffe is the only thing missing)

I have a snes, a gba, a video player, an mp3 player, an HP 48Gx calculator, an instant messenger, a web browser, i can use a keyboard, i think there is some sort of notepad that goes with it. (All in one great handheld). With a crappy battery life of course but I can live with it

Oh! I forgot it also plays PSP games

I think he meant that idiots are the people who only use their psp for normal psp games.

It will be hacked, its only a matter of time.
There will be new "wizards" to bring us new dreams
The old will become new again and this will be the portable emu / homebrew system of choice.
Its lighter, has more internal memory and video out.
There is a whole lot of psp1 experienced coders that will be able to apply what they already know.
A large code base for new coders to draw from and apply to the new psp.

The only thing that disappoints me is that DA never got to finish what would have been the final OE firmware for the original PSP.
3.50OE could have been the crowning jewel, a brilliant end to an amazing feat.

sony promised no such thing. in fact, your the idiot for believing the rumors you read on these biased forums.

i wonder if dark alex was forced off the scene by sony as a result of a "fresh non homebrew psp"? well i will wait for a while before it gets hacked! If it does which its bound too... And the only cool thing is the video out for homebrew otherwise its a rip off! If you already own one that is

No i'm guessin the 3.50 official ISO loader capability was the last nail in the coffin.

The video out feature does sound sweet... too bad about the ir port, I use mine constantly... the other improvements I guess do make it better.... I guess we'll just have to wait and see it personally once its released to see if its worth the purchase.

There will be 2 types of people who will buy this redesign ripoff.

1.) The unsuspecting consumer who is the type to lease a new car every year and upgrade to 3.51 firmware the moment its announced because its the "newest" and....

2.) Homebrew hopefuls like myself who will probably want to secure the earliest firmware version of the PSP redesign hoping that some day a downgrader or custom firmware updater will be released. Hell, I'd even be excited about a hello world! exploit on the new PSP.
