    most likely, but not too much faster.

    it SEEMS like it speeds up a liiittle bit when there's more ram free -- but that can only speed it up so much, to the point where the code needs to be optimized, when memory is no longer a problem. R12 has a fixed solution to memory which works quite well, but does have a few bumps (RAM still fills up time to time and crashes). this solution puts an early limit on speed-ups from having more RAM available

    i REALLY dont want to see our only remaining dedicated n64 coder get burned out

    edit:

    the memory streaming was implimented somewhere between R3-R6

    Wait... if the firmware of the slim takes all of the 66 mbs of ram then how can it be used for Daedalus?
