    Default Screwy colours on pal(aussie)dc

ok, I'm using a dc-x(got it cheap) to play original jap games on my australian dc, and yes, they are playing, but the colours are all weird...like the reds and greens are reversed or something. The thing is, I've seen this b4...i have a pal/ntsc vcr, and when i play an ntsc tape it looks like this, unless i change a setting in the vcr menu from one "type" of ntsc to a different one.
What can i do? I have a vga box...will hooking a monitor up to that work? will a mod chip fix this problem? HEEELLLPPPP!

I think I heard about a similar problem before. It ended up being something like the output cables weren't set up properly. If you do have a VGA box and some cables for it, try hooking it up to that to see if it helps. How do you have it hooked up now?
