SEGA of America, Inc. today announced Daisy Fuentes Pilates, the first Pilates workout program for the Wii. Set at a lush tropical resort and hosted by Daisy Fuentes, longtime Pilates icon and star of the entertainment industry, the title supports the Wii Balance Board. Created in partnership with Interactive Game Group, Daisy Fuentes Pilates features customizable workouts, fitness tracking real-time coaching and interactive feedback.

Daisy Fuentes Pilates, the first self-titled Pilates endeavor, goes beyond the one-way, static workouts of traditional DVDs using the Wii's controls to monitor movements and offer instant feedback, ensuring proper body motion so players get the most from every Pilates session. Players stay on track following the integrated, on-screen "timing bar" as well as the real-time feedback from Daisy Fuentes herself, whose voice guides the exercises. Players will be able to choose between English and Spanish.

"This is a great way to get Pilates training that fits your schedule and lifestyle," said Daisy Fuentes. "You can start out as an absolute beginner then move into intermediate and advanced levels--all at your own pace, in the comfort of your own home, and with responsive feedback that helps ensure you're mastering core skills correctly before you advance."

Developed by Joseph Pilates in the early twentieth century, Pilates has become the exercise program of choice for a growing number of enthusiasts on a worldwide scale. Daisy Fuentes Pilates is built around 10 fundamental exercises that players craft into individual workout routines depending on their level of intensity (Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced). Players can track their results – mapping the total amount of exercise completed and how well each movement was performed. Daisy Fuentes also offers exercise and healthy diet tips throughout the program to encourage a full-body approach to health and well-being.

Cuban-born Daisy Fuentes became a household name as an international television star on MTV and MTV Latino; and the first Latin worldwide spokesperson for Revlon. In her storied career she has hosted numerous national television shows, including House of Style and America's Funniest Home Videos. In 2004, Daisy launched a fashion line, which now includes clothing, fragrances, handbags, accessories, sportswear and more. Daisy Fuentes was the spokesperson for the best-selling Winsor Pilates DVD series for many years.

Today the world of video game boxing returns to its roots with the launch of the new Punch-Out!! game for Nintendo's Wii console. The game brings immersive motion controls to an iconic franchise that has been around since the days of the NES. Players are invited to step into the ring as underdog Little Mac as they go toe-to-toe with an array of memorable characters, including familiar faces like Glass Joe, King Hippo and Don Flamenco.

The motion-sensitive Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers turn the swings players make in real life into on-screen punches. Both novice and veteran gamers can pick up Punch-Out!! and punch their way to the top. The optional Wii Balance Board accessory (sold separately with Wii Fit) can be added to provide an extra challenge for advanced players who want to literally bob and weave through their fights. For those who insist on old-school Punch-Out!! purity, the game also can be played with classic NES-style controls by turning the Wii Remote controller sideways.

Even players who have battled through the original games hundreds of times will find new challenges with Punch-Out!! for Wii. For instance, once Little Mac (with the help of trainer Doc Louis) has pummeled his way through all the contenders, they return to offer him new challenges in Title Defense Mode. Only this time, their traditional weaknesses have been eliminated and players must find new ways to achieve victory. In this mode, the once-harmless Glass Joe now wears headgear, and King Hippo's vulnerable belly is protected behind a manhole cover. The new twists ensure fans enjoy a completely new play experience.

For the first time in the Punch-Out!! series, a head-to-head multiplayer mode lets players compete against one another. Both players take on the role of Little Mac and match wits as they trade uppercuts, jabs and body blows. With a series of well-placed punches, Little Mac transforms into the gargantuan Giga Mac, who can land more powerful blows and is more difficult to take down.

"Punch-Out!! is back, keeping all the charm of the original while delivering a knockout punch with new twists to experience and enjoy," said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of Sales & Marketing.
