The original Dead Or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball was a little bit light on mini-games. There was basically the Pool Hopping event and that was it. But Tecmo has dug deep for the 360 sequel though. Here's what was unlocked and playable in the recent X06 build:

    Marine Race (short)

    Marine Race (medium)

    Marine Race (long)

    Pool Hopping

    Beach Flags

    Tug Of War

    Butt Battles

By far the most pervy was Butt Battles, which Tecmo describes as "a competitive conflict of perfect posteriors." We've played it and it's mental - absolutely off it's head.

Two DOA girls stand bum-to-bum on an inflatable in the middle of a pool and attempt to push the other one off by banging their bums into each other. It's like something from classic TV show, It's A Knockout!

All you need to use is the left thumb stick, which controls your butt bangs by flicking the stick towards your opponent. Move it away from your opponent and your chosen honey will push her belly out, avoiding an attack. It a bit like what you do when someone 'funny' wraps up a wet towel and ties to whip you on the ass. The trick is to dodge an attack, and then hit back straight away or anticipate what your opponent will do and when.

There's some comedy use of the camera too as all it focuses on is the rear ends. Each game is the best of three rounds and there are plenty of different bikini and thong bottoms to ogle over.

Other modes revealed in the recent X06 build included a Virtual Pictorial, which from what we could tell was just hundreds of softcore snaps of the girls in various locations and positions (!). The Marine Races are basically Jet-Ski races against the clock that vary in length. They're not Wave Race either...

Beach Flags is simply a race to grab a flag stuck into the sand. Both girls lie belly-down on the sand. When you get the green light you have to hammer the A button and than hit B to make a dive for the flag. Finally, Tug Of War does exactly what it says on the tin.

There's no European release date yet for Dead Or Alive: Xtreme 2 but we've rustled up a few shots featuring the above mini-games, which we may or may not have posted before.

    Heres an excerpt:

Everyone else has played a Wii for around ten minutes in the UK, if at all. A handful of lucky journalists have got ten mins per title. Today, we can tell you what it's like after more than two hours of raw playing time, and that's what gamers everywhere need to know.

Hailed as the largest innovation in gaming history by some and as the biggest gimmick ever to strike the realm of console gaming by others, the Nintendo Wii is sure to top many gamers Christmas lists. The sexy, minimalist white box with its soft, blue glow around the disc port deserves a spot on any lounge TV unit, surely?

What we’ve been lacking up until now though has been lengthy play times on the Wii itself. Ten minutes at E3 2006 just doesn’t cut it. Will you get tired too quickly? Do you have to stand around or is it feasible to sit? Is waving the remote a fine art or is it just like waving a stick in a goldfish bowl and hoping to strike lucky? Finally Entertainmentwise's Kim Kaze is able to answer these and other pressing, REAL questions; after an extended, lengthy play test of four Wii launch titles at the UK offices of Nintendo themselves. No interruptions, no queue, no noise and advice from one of the QA Team to assist with game play questions. Also, this time there were controllers without wires of any kind. Who could ask for more?

We also got to hold a Wii unit in our hands and gain real perspective of how it’s going to feel to handle the unit itself and the literal size as it will be when we slot it into our lounge TV units at home.

First of all, it’s important to remind you that the Wii is selling on two very important and unique points:

    1) It’s for everyone; the hardcore gaming nut through to grannies, girls and irregular gamers.

    2) The remote which acts as the primary control device is utterly wireless and more than just a tilt sensor; every movement of the remote is detected in any fashion and relates to game play.

No other console either out now or set to launch this side of 2010 offers this. Coming close, Nintendo’s DS handheld has been used as inspiration for many of the Wii features relating to the casual gamer, but that’s where the similarities end.

Some gamers have shown concern that the activity level required to play Wii games, especially the sporty titles, may be too high. There are concerns that you have to stand for long periods of time and use body actions such as swinging your arm above your head or at the side of your body. After playing non stop for two hours, did this happen to me?

We've already given you an insight to the kind of gang-banging mission action GTA: Vice City Stories will be getting you into when it launches for PSP in November but what if you're tired of blasting turf rivals and hunger for some quick-access fun? Fortunately Vice City boasts some great ways to let off some steam and give yourself a break from drug running, bank jobs and cojones-grabbing gangsters.

    Insane stunt jumps
The old favourite returns, with PSP's new Vice City locations given the stunt treatment so that almost any incline you spot can lead to a glorious slo-mo leap. Plus, with the addition of the nippy jet-skis, Vice City Stories offers high-speed water hijinks - including a dramatic series of bounding jumps launching you all over the city's plush golf course.

    Beach patrol
Head to Washington Beach for some Baywatch-inspired challenges that see you saving lives instead of ending them. Use your swimming skills to wade out and rescue hapless beach-goers who find themselves caught in dangerous waters, with the added bonus that continued wet work permanently boosts Vic's stamina.

    Chunder Wheel
One of the more obvious additions to Vice City's streets, the Chunder Wheel is part of a fully working fairground complete with a bunch of rides for you to leap in and enjoy. Ride the Chunder Wheel with a set of binoculars to get a high-eyes view of the city, or pack a sniper rifle for some elevated assassinations.
