2K Sports continues to test their bugged-out games the way Shaq shoots free throws, which is to say poorly. Reader Trevor complains:
I loaded up NBA 2K6 for the 360 earlier this week and it prompted me for a forced update. After the update I played a game and the crib points (rewards for in game acheivements to buy in game stuff) were totally messed up. For example, I got one rebound and got the 10 rebound reward, I scored 10 points and I got the 100 point reward, made 2 free throws and I got the 15 free throw award etc.....
Obviously the patch screwed up the stat recording by a factor of 10. Dozens of people have been complaining on the 2k forums The question is why wasn't this caught. It's blatently obvious in the first 10 seconds of playing the game. No testing what so ever.

I attended an engineering speech by Nick Baker, the director of Xbox Console Design Architecture. He's one of the top chip architects on the Xbox 360's chips. Most of the chat was deep in the woods. But one of his comments was startling. He said that Microsoft had now sold 3.3 million consoles worldwide. Microsoft PR confirmed that number to me just now.
What's interesting is that Microsoft said in its earnings statement that it had shipped 1.75 million consoles by March 31. Because of its rough start in manufacturing, it took 4.5 months to reach that number. The original goal had been 3 million units in the first 90 days, but the manufacturing glitches scotched that goal. Now it looks like Microsoft is making up for lost time.

Team XXX released a new version of FBAxxx.
What's new:
* fixed 60fps support in PAL50Hz, now the synchronization is perfect, could be useful for later
* fixed a bug sound in D3d sound (sorry, it was my fault)
* optimized a little lowpass ( 1/(1[[15) = ]]15), lowpass filter was always executed, corrected that
* removed neogeoblackscreenfix, it doesn t seem to crash anymore, if you have a black screen with neogeo roms, try to mess with FM interpolation
* added a minimenu, hope you'll like it, you can desactivate it in the menu option, it can't be desactivated in kiosk mode though
* added kiosk_mode, if you don't know what it is, you just don't need it

Moonlight has updated moonshell.
Moonshell is a multimedia player for the Nintendo DS. It can play wav, mp3, ogg, display text files, display jpg, bmp and play video.
Whats new:
Renewed Setup.exe.
MoonShell is possible to start from the M3 menu with A button. It referred 'Pepsiman-M3powerloader.zip'.

- Shape recognition from palib added
- some bug fixes for incorrectly displayed mails
- added debug message to config file write. please check if it is complete

PSP298 who released the best GBA Emulator for PSP in our Forums is back with a new release for us PSP fans, heres the details on his new homebrew:
This is the PMP Mod for PC version and you could now preview the PMP movie in your PC with a 32" large LCD monitor.
Special thanks goes to the orginal developer Mikeshi from China, he is the one created the first verion of this PMP Mod for PC (PMPC) and this version is a modifed version made use of PC display card hardware acceleration feature.

SuperSize Game v1.1
Added additional GFX hacks to add Morgan Spurlock to the game. Also added a couple of other graphical features to make the game a little more interesting.
Install using LUA. Thanks to Sousanator for the original version.
