During the Play UK 2006 video game seminar hosted by the United Kingdom Embassy in Tokyo, Kuju Entertainment creative director Tancred Dyke-Wells revealed that his company is working on Redwood Falls, a first-person shooter for the PlayStation 3.
Kuju showed off a trailer of Redwood Falls during his presentation. According to a report by Famitsu.com, the gory trailer showed a man getting shot repeatedly by gunfire. The man's flesh would wear away, revealing bones and other innards behind open wounds. But the man didn't keel over and die after all the injected lead; instead, his body slowly healed until he was fully recovered.
Wells told Famitsu.com that the human model could have been created even more realistically so that even internal organs could be blown away. However, he held back from doing so this time around, since the main focus of the trailer was to show off Kuju's development prowess.
According to Wells, Redwood Falls will feature plenty of regenerating enemies. The actual game will feature tougher enemies that can heal themselves and transform into more powerful forms and can even manipulate their bones and use them as weapons.

As part of its ongoing drive to provide free Wi-Fi access to Nintendo DS owners Nintendo has signed deals with major Wi-Fi providers across Europe giving users access to over 20,000 free Nintendo Wi-Fi access points.

Fans of the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service will be delighted to see three new Wi-Fi games launching soon. From Nintendo; Animal Crossing: Wild World will have gamers living alternate lives online from the 31st March 2006 and shoot-em up fans across Europe will be blasting aliens in Metroid Prime Hunters from 5th May 2006. Also launching in Europe this Spring is LOSTMAGICTM from Ubisoft, a role playing action game which allows you to create new characters and challenge others via Nintendo Wi-Fi connectivity. Other Wi-Fi compatible Nintendo DS games currently available include: Mario Kart DS from Nintendo and 'Tony Hawk's American SK8Land' from Activision.

For those who want to play Nintendo DS Wi-Fi games at home and don't have a wireless access point Nintendo has also launched a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connector (available for around £30) which plugs into a PC and automatically sets up a connection.

Sony Pictures has unveiled plans to bundle UMDs with DVDs and announced pricing for the Blu-Ray format, with new movie releases set to carry a wholesale price of less than USD 25.

From March 28th, PlayStation Portable owners will be able to purchase DVD-UMD bundles for movies The Grudge, Resident Evil, Underworld, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and The Terminator. April 25th will see the arrival of Ghostbusters, Mad Max, The Fifth Element and Snatch, and more bundles will follow in May.
The bundles will be priced at USD 28.95. This is a price point which is likely to appeal to consumers - in the States, new DVD releases generally sell for between USD 20-25, while UMD movies carry an RRP of USD 29.99.
Speaking to Reuters, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment president Benjamin Feingold said: "A lot of people have DVD players and also have PSPs, and this way for one price they can get one movie and play it back on both formats."
SPHE has also announced that Blu-Ray versions of older films will carry a wholesale price of USD 17.95, while new releases will be priced at USD 23.45. The company has declined to set an RRP, leaving retailers free to determine their own profit margins.

New commercial DS release:
Based on the 2004 Pixar motion picture of the same name, Mr Incredible Kyouteki Underminder Toujou follows the adventures of Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and an all-star cast of characters as they play through the events of the film in more than 20 different stages. Additional enemies and locations that were designed by Pixar but couldn't make it for the final cut of the film have been included as well, and the voices of Hollywood personalities Samuel L. Jackson, Holly Hunter, and Jason Lee lend their support to recapturing the look and feel of the movie.

New commercial DS release:
Observe two nearly identical images and tap the differences between them. The game features several mini games involving blowing on the microphone to shove fallen leaves out of the way revealing incongruities.

A port of the seventh in the acclaimed Three Kingdoms series, Romance VII allows players to assume the role of 535 different characters and five classes across ten scenarios with multiple endings. The PSP version features improved artificial intelligence routines and a cleaned up interface.
