Nippon Ichi is busy making more Disgaea for PSP following the runaway critical success of tactical RPG Hour of Darkness.

The catchy title "Prinny: Ore ga shyujinkou de iinsuka" (translated to "Prinny: Is It Really OK That I'm the Main Character") will appear in Japan this November, according to Dengeki Online (translated by GameSpot).

Prinnies are little penguin-like things, and this spin-off has them platforming from left to right on some day-long 10-stage mission to find Etna's sweets. Lazy.

There's no word on the game appearing outside of Japan for the moment.

We're also awaiting the fate of PS3 game Disgaea 3 in Europe, plus DS outing Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. We're badgering European distributor KOEI.

Head over to our Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness review to see what all the fuss is about. ...

There are already a few home automation iPhone apps in the store, but here at CEDIA it's clear that all of the home automation heavies have definitely discovered the obvious: the iPhone makes for a great universal touchscreen remote for everything from your AC to your living room blinds to your music collection. And most of them won't make you pay the price of a snazzy dedicated touchscreen controller to get it, either. Most of them

EA has announced that nine new titles are currently in development for the iPhone: Yahtzee Adventures, EA Mini Golf, Lemonade Tycoon, Mahjong, Monopoly: Here & Now The World Edition, SimCity, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 09, Need for Speed Undercover, and The Sims 3. Many of these titles have been mentioned before, but I was pretty pumped to hear about SimCity and the Sims 3 being added to the list. EA has also revealed that they are shooting to release Spore Origins on September 7th—the same day it is released on the Mac and PC.

Whoop -- looks like the 120GB Zune couldn't wait for its formal debut on the 9th. Yep, sold to our tipster at a Fry's in Atlanta for $250, just like we'd heard. Anyone else spot one -- or better yet, the blue flash Zune?

Nintendo might be cranking out new DS Lite colors left and right, but IGN says something bigger's brewing in Kyoto -- a third iteration of the DS with dual touchscreen displays, one of them widescreen. Those are pretty significant changes, so we'd actually say that sounds more like a second-gen DS rather than another rev of the current hardware, but IGN says the rumored release date of April or May 2009 doesn't jive with a whole new unit. We'll see when we see -- hopefully we won't be waiting long.

PS.- That's just IGN's mockup, don't get too excited.
