nzero has released a new Sokoban game written in Lua so make sure you have Lua Player Installed, heres the details:

This is the first release of SokobanLP. SokobanLP is a lua version of the puzzle game Sokoban. The objective of the game is to push the diamonds onto the goal squares.

Controls:

D-Pad: Move your character in the given direction
Select button: Restart current level
Square: Undo move up to the first move of game
Triangle: Redo last undo move, available until a new move is made
Right trigger: Advance to next level in the current level collection
Left trigger: Revert to previous level in the current level collection
Circle: Load next level collection in collections directory
Cross: Close current message box
Start: Exit game

This is currently a very basic beta of PSysP Info. The aim of the program (written in lua) is just to be an almost task manager and to show lots of system information. However currently it is very limited as I have only
included the freespace, date and time and battery information, which still isn't complete. If you have a look at the code you will see some unused functions and general things that I will either use in a later release or scrap completely. e.g pagestatus. hmm I wonder what that could be all will be revealed in the future.

Hi well this is my second game in lua. Its still in the BETA form. I will be improving the code and the sound clips. this is a game where you have fun killing the little stick guy (will add characters) you press buttons and something will happen to little billy. its a pointless fun game and its a good time waster. and i will be adding more characters so you can torment more then just a stick figure. right now it is only a stick figure.

the controls:

X - find out
O - find out
Square - find out
Triangle - find out
Left, right, up, down - Find out
L - currently nothing (will be button to change characters later)
R - resets the character

Please note this is in very early production and it not the best. It is just a game, for you people who like to hurt others except this is safer. its basicaly a time waster. but once i add more features it will be more entertaining.

To clear any confusion, a Sony representative, speaking with Yahoo! Games, has confirmed that the PS3 will ship with a 60 GB HDD, with an option to upgrade. No PS3 bundles will be sold without a hard drive. However, it's unclear if by upgrading, purchasers will have the option to buy the console with a larger hard drive, or if they'll be forced take the 60 GB HDD and buy an additional, larger drive separately—we guess the latter (at least, at launch), but aren't ruling out the possibility of two bundles with different sized hard drives (for example, 60 GB and 100 GB bundles).

Overall, standardizing the consoles to include a hard drive benefits both developers and consumers. But we're still left wondering if the asking price will be out of the range of a significant percentage of potential buyers. ...

Syphon Filter hasn’t made a striking appearance on a console since, well, the first Syphon Filter came out on the PSOne back in 1999. Fans of the third-person shooter can breathe a sigh of relief then knowing that the newest addition to the franchise, Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror for the PSP, has made an equally large splash.

Excellent graphics, effective use of the PSP controls, and great online multiplayer mark Dark Mirror “the game to beat on the PSP” by IGN, and while 1UP has issues with the originality of the story (“The story…isn’t something to pay close attention to”), both they and GameSpot agree that the ability of the game to play well even without the help of a second analog stick is a blessing.

Gee; two great games and news of several landmark peripherals in the span of a week. Suddenly that feeling I had as a neglected PSP owner is feeling somewhat less soul-deadening.
